Grassland

• High variance in temperature between summer and winter.

• 10-30 inches of rain.

• Fire is a necessary component for maintaining the correct plant life.  As such it occurs frequently during dry periods.

• Plants are mostly flowers and grass with disorderly trees.

• Animals  include antelopes and bison along with a variety of African and Australian mammals.
